Yoder Smokers Pellet Grill Replacement Thermocouple

Replacement thermocouple for Yoder Smokers pellet grills.  Make sure you have verified which thermocouple is compatible with your grill.

*IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY QUESTIONAIRE*

YS480s, YS640s, and YS1500s grills with serial numbers after 74001

• You will probably need the PT-1000 probe
• Please verify here:  Temp Probe Verification

YS480s, YS640s, and YS1500s grills with serial numbers before 74001 and ACS (Wifi) controllers

• You will need the Short J-type probe
• If you have upgraded or replaced your controller you may need the PT-1000 probe
• You can verify here:  Temp Probe Verification
• If no probe type is visible in the settings, make sure you are connected to Wifi and allow the firmware to update to the latest version
• If updating the firmware is not an option for you, you can probably assume that your version requires the Short J-type probe

YS480 and YS640 grills with Legacy (non-Wifi) controllers

• You will need the Short J-type probe if your YS480 firmware is R37 and later
• You will need the Short J-type probe if your YS640 firmware is U29 and newer
• You will need the Long J-type probe if your YS480 firmware is older than R37
• You will need the Long J-type probe if your YS640 firmware is older than U29

YS1500 grills with Legacy (non-Wifi) controllers

• You will need the Long J-type probe
